Following fourteen years of bloody civil war, attempts are being made to reunite a deeply divided Liberian society through cultural expression. Bong County acts as a venue for a festival of music, dance, and theatre. The ferocity of the drumbeats and intensity of the dance conveys the power of a people trying to re-unite and put the past behind them.
